Why is it important to spread Applied Behaviour Analysis?

Because the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder is increasing Globally [1] and no other intervention for people with autism has so far come close to the evidence of effectiveness that ABA has provided. There are no other scientifically valid treatments that produce similar results.[2]

I.e., in the USA, 1 in 54 children is affected by autism in 2018.[3]

A recent study by “Autism Europe ” conducted in several European states determined an estimated average prevalence of 12.2 per 1000 (1 in 89). The value for different countries varies between 4.4 and 19.7 per 1000.[4]

Very few specialists working with children with autism had training in ABA.
